TheoryLab group has several available postdoc positions starting from next year, spring-fall 2022. The positions are for 2+1 years.
The positions are divided into two different classes:
- High-Energy positions. Candidates are expected to have a strong background in one of the following topics:
- Holographic methods
- Applied AdS-CFT duality
- Effective field theory
- Hydrodynamics
- Keldysh-Schwinger techniques
- Goldstone modes
- Out-of-equilibrium physics
- Higher-form symmetries
Candidates with strong numerical skills are highly encouraged to apply.
2. Low-energy positions. Candidates are expected to have a strong background in one of the following topics:
- Liquids dynamics
- Molecular dynamic simulations
- Soft matter theory
- Viscoelasticity
- Physics of glasses and amorphous systems
- Quasicrystals dynamics
- Anharmonic systems
Candidates with strong numerical skills are highly encouraged to apply.
